From First Word to Finished Book
Choose your chapters
Select from 18 predefined chapter topics that cover every aspect of a life — childhood, career, military service, marriage, travel, faith, loss, and more. Choose only the ones that apply to your life, or add a chapter of your own for anything the list doesn’t cover, and drag them into whatever order you want your story told. You can add or change them at any time.
Write your story — your way
Each chapter has a focus prompt to guide you. Write in plain language, the way you talk. Don’t worry about grammar or spelling — that is what the AI editor is for. Would rather talk than type? Just tap the Dictate button and speak — your words are typed out for you automatically. Your work saves automatically as you type, so you can come and go as you please.
Polish with the AI Editorial Station
When you have finished a chapter, request an AI edit. Choose between a Light Edit (spelling and grammar only) or a Full Edit (a complete prose polish). Then use the Refine Edit tool to give the AI specific instructions for further adjustments.
Upload and arrange your photos
Upload photos to each chapter directly from your computer or phone. Add a caption and an optional date for each one. You can edit captions at any time using the pencil button next to each photo. Then drag them into the order you want them to appear. Photos are automatically placed throughout your chapter text in a balanced layout, with any that don’t fit inline grouped together at the end of that chapter.
Download your memoir — included with every membership
When you are satisfied with your memoir, download your beautifully formatted PDF as many times as you like. Share it with family by email, print it at home, or keep it as a permanent digital archive. It’s yours. If you want to take it a step further, you can order a professionally printed hardcover coffee table book — delivered to your door, ready to display and pass down for generations.
